Francisco Rebajes was the founder of the "wearable art movement" in Manhattan. Otto R Bade, as Rebajes plant manager, produced Rebajes art starting in 1941. Otto purchased the company from Francisco in 1960, creating his own art jewelry line under the trademark "Orb", and operated the company under he retired in 1981.
