The Watt Pottery, Crooksville, Ohio, was incorporated in 1922 and remained in operation until a fire in 1965. In the late 1940's the company concentrated on kitchen-ware and in 1949 began hand decorating their items.
This #15 pitcher is decorated in the dutch tulip pattern, circa 1950's, which is rather scarce and difficult to find. It measures 5 1/4" in height and 6" from spout-to-handle. The one pint pitcher is marked "15 Oven Ware U.S.A." There are two shallow chips at the end of the spout which are not that noticeable; see photo. Otherwise there are no cracks, repairs or discoloration. Nice piece in a scarce pattern.
