Stephen Dweck, American Jewelry Designer, received his formal training at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He refers to his jewelry style as "Artistic Fashion Jewelry" with his inspiration drawn from the wealth of materials found in nature. He launched his first line in May of 1981 for Bergdorf Goodman, later adding Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus and foreign venues to his list of outlets.
This rather over-the-top run-way style will be sure to turn heads at your next formal affair Light in weight and very easy to wear, the design is a simple, flat disc to which is attached a string of beads, graduated in size, probably a lucite or resin material. The disc and first two black beads have a satin finish in comparison to a glossy finish on the next four. The earring clip, largest and smallest bead as well as all connecting metal links have a gold-plated finish. The earring clip is stamped "14K G.P". The black beads have a subdued sparkle of tiny gold flecks when hit by light. The disc measures 1" across and the earrings are 6 1/4" in length. One earring is marked with a foil sticker "Stephen Dweck - CR". The set is in excellent condition and ready to wear and enjoy.
