Philippe Ferrandis, French jewelry designer, opened his studio in 1986. He creates two collections per year which are always different and always spectacular. Wearing a Ferrandis creation makes a woman feel glamorous and look enchanting. All his jewelry is made by-hand using precious and semi-precious materials insuring unique results of the highest quality.
This fabulous runway inspired necklace is a wonderful combination of bronze-tone metal tear-drop and round medallion findings designed with a Mid-East influence, along with rhinestones, glass beads and polished stones from nature. The chain portion has metal findings along with beads and stones attached to a large, faceted rose glass crystal encased with a border of prong-set diamond rhinestones. Attached to this is a round medallion with faux moonstone center and suspended from this are additional beads, stones and smaller metal medallion. This drop measures 3" in length. The necklace measures 14" in length with an additional 3" chain extension and is equipped with a hook catch. Marked "Philippe Ferrandis - Paris" on an oval cartouche. This beautiful necklace was a gift to the previous owner in 2000 and was never worn. In mint or near mint condition, it comes in its original purple satin bag.
