For those of you who enjoy fine Mexican Sterling jewelry, this is a "got to have" pendant. A Wonderful figural 3-dimensional design of the face and headdress profile of a Mayan head. The large, open headdress is adorned with three detailed feathers and attached dangling ornamentation. The warrior's face shows both strength and fear in his eye and weathered skin. The pendant measures 2" in width and 2/7/8" in length with a large loop to accommodate your favorite sterling chain. Stamped with the second eagle mark and #3, circa late 1960's, and "RD" surrounded by "Sterling 925 Taxco" This may be the mark of Rafael Dominguez, 1911 - 1980, who was a student of William Spratling. In excellent vintage condition and nice patina.
