A beautiful pair of home studio or perhaps factory studio hand painted cups. They would have originally been part of a demi-tasse or hot chocolate set. The saucers are missing.
They measure 3" tall and 2 5/8" across the top. Decorated with branches of pink, red and yellow tea roses accented with shaded green and tan foliage with variegated pastel blue background highlights. The rims and delicate arched handles are covered with gold. The marking "Haviland France" is circa 1894 - 1931. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely pair with fantastic decoration.
