Elegant simplicity is the description that comes to mind when thinking of this lovely 10-strand silver-tone beaded necklace.
Composed of 10 strands of silver-tone metal beads consisting of elongated beads measuring 1/2" in length separated by round beads measuring approximately 3mm in size ending with dome-shaped end caps. The hook and ring closure mechanism is attached by somewhat larger beads than in the individual strands. The style is similar to that of the liquid silver bead work of Native American's of the Southwest. The overall length of the necklace is 25 inches. Unmarked as to the designer. Near mint condition.
This necklace came from a collection of fine designer jewelry that was acquired in the 1980 - 1990 period from fine department stores such as Peacocks, Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue and others.
