A lovely, circa 1890 - 1910, light ironstone or porcelain-type dinner plate in the Baronial pattern. A romantic motif of Mid-Eastern architecture, formal gardens and lake with gondola-style boats and passengers. The wide border has cartouches of buildings and floral interspersed with garlands of vines and flowers. The plate measures 9 5/8" across and has no cracks, chips or repairs. Stamped "England" and the "Lion and Unicorn" used by many English potteries, a ribbon with the pattern "Baronial" and "W" in a diamond.
