Art porcelain bearing the mark R.S Prussia was manufactured by Reinhold Schlegelmilch, circa 1900 - 1915 in a German area know until the end of WWI as Prussia. This lovely plate with up-turned, scalloped edge, measures 8 1/2" across. The center is decorated with pastel pink and white floral and blue-green leaves. The outer border has embossed fans and small pink roses against a delicate gold colored star background with an inter-ring of white floral and gold tracery against a pastel shaded blue-green background; with the scarce vellum finish. The base is marked with the red star and wreath and "R.S Prussia". There are no cracks, chips or repairs on this beautiful cabinet plate.
