Hand painted porcelain is so beautiful if created in a large professional studio, factory decorating department or home studio environment. This lovely porcelain stein is beautifully decorated with three red ripe bunches of currants and shaded green leaves against a soft aqua background. The base and lower portion of the handle is a dark green. The green base and aqua body is separated by a wide gold band as well as a gold chain motif linking the bunches of currants and gold rim. The stein measures 5" in height, 4" across the base and 3" across the top. The porcelain blank is marked "Rosenthal, Selb-Bavaria", circa 1910, and is initialed "F.D." by the decorating artist. There are no cracks, chip, repairs or enamel damage. If you appreciate hand-painted porcelain or collect steins this is a must.
