This is a Bristol type glass vase in a clam-broth color. The sunlight has lightened the image, somewhat. The color is more of a beige, not grey. The translucent color is opalescent, when held to the light. The hand painted botanical/berries motif has been decorated with gold. The gold banding and base decor have survived, to a limited extent. The base has a ground (not polished) pontil mark and has a fired marking of a part number or price. I can't say, with any certainty, that this was made in Bristol, England. Height is about 7 3/8", with a 3" diameter base. There are NO chips, cracks, or scratches. There is the expected light base rubbing marks. It is quite nice and a welcome addition to your collection.
