19th Century female portrait entitled "Night Beauty" (Belle de Nuit). Aquatint engraved by Alphonse Martinet after a painting by Joseph Court , circa 1845. It was edited by Goupil, put in colors, watercolor, gouache and arabic gum, by the master colorist of the workshop to serve as a model for other colourists. Signed by the master colorist at the bottom left : Kahn.
An exemplar of this aquatint, although not watercolored, is currently held by the Museum "Goupil Bordeaux".
