Baccarat 19th C. French Dore Bronze-Collard Crystal Spirit Decanter w/Stopper

High quality, luxury and function at its best describes this handsome spirit or whiskey decanter. The wonderful clarity of the hand-blown glass will show off your beverage of choice. Smooth sides in rectangular shape support the elegant thumbprint-cut shoulders. Solid crystal ball stopper is smooth with ground stem that fits snuggly and appropriately to preserve contents. The French gilt dore bronze lip and collar is masterfully engraved with laurel and small bead bands. Heavy, but well weighted for pouring. It likely had a paper label and is unsigned. Extremely hard to find. A great estate piece.

This striking piece will shine with a vintage or contemporary bar, singularly on a tray for entertaining, displayed, or as the ultimate gift of luxury for a discerning gentleman.

* CONDITION: Very good to excellent for its age. Shows beautifully. Neither piece has chips, cracks or cloudiness. Minor bubbles and other anomalies that are inherent to antique mouth-blown glass may exist, but none are easily discernable. Minor scratches to the gilt are commensurate with normal use and age.
