This striking Wedgwood plate is hand painted with leaves of gold and black and a series of rust colored ovals in the border. The plate is earthenware. It is impressed WEDGWOOD (only) and the date mark for 1871. The pattern number 9146 is painted by hand.
The plate is 10" (25.5 cm) in diameter. The condition is very good. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or wear to the pattern. There is crazing, but no stains or discolorations.
