This attractive hand painted majolica plate or plaque was created to hang on the wall...there are two original holes on the back to facilitate hanging. Later, it was framed in dark reddish wood which nicely accents the plate.
It's diameter is about 8-1/4" (21 cm). The condition is very good. No flaws show as the plaque is now framed. When out of the frame, there is a chip on the front edge of the plaque. There is also a chip on the back foot rim. I have discounted the plaque because of these 2 chips.
There are no marks on the back to give a hint as to maker or country of origin.
