A typically naive John Walton pottery figure of a boy with a basket of flowers standing in front of a bocage. It is marked with the impressed banner mark and the name "Walton" in letters with serifs. It is 4" tall. Circa 1825.
Usually, on these pieces, the bocage has damage. With this piece, the bocage is in fine condition, but the figure has had a professional repair/restoration to his left arm and some touch up to his face. The piece is priced accordingly.
Note: Figures signed Walton in letters without serifs are forgeries.
