A wonderful large tray, intricately carved, with the central motif of a Noh mask and a fan. Of Kamakura-carved Negoro lacquer. I believe it is Taisho period (1912-1926).
The tray measures about 20-1/2" long, 14" wide, and 2" deep. The tray is in excellent condition.
There is a silk cord looped through the handles of the tray to facilitate hanging it.
