Very nice quality, hand painted figure of a Soldier. He stands about 8-3/4" high. Most likely 20th century. Unmarked on the base, but the red-orange shield near his left leg has a white "N", then a sort of crown, and then another smaller "N".
Condition? His sword is shorter than it should be. Although this flaw is not very noticeable, it seems that perhaps a 1/4" or so of the end of the sword is missing. Other than that, excellent condition.
