Antique Satsuma Vase, 19th C Japanese, Meiji Era - image 1 of 6

Both front and back of this charming small Satsuma Vase show 3 boys studying. The side panels are decorated with nishikide diapers. There are overall gilt accents.

The vase is slightly over 5" high. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. The only wear showing is to the gilding around the lip of the vase. I date it c 1885.
