This gorgeous antique plate is in pristine condition. It's diameter is 8-1/2" . It has no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no wear, and a nice ring when tapped.
The cobalt blue color of the border is not quite as dark as the photos show it. The foot rim is quite high. On the back is a large British Royal Arms and JR (for John Ridgway)of Cauldon Place, Shelton,Hanley, Staffordshire. It dates c. 1835.
A matching Dessert Tray is also available in my Ruby Lane Shop. It measures 10-3/4" long and 8-1/2" wide. The pattern number on the tray is 6927. The pattern number is not noted on this plate.
