This beautiful small silver bowl is in excellent condition. It is about 3-1/2" wide and 2-1/4" high. There are 9 panels, each showing a different animal among palm trees. It stands on 3 animal paw feet. The bowl weighs 3.2 ounces (90.7 grams). There is an indecipherable mark on one of the feet.
Indian Kutch (or Cutch) silver can be identified by its crisp, repoussé foliage, and its depictions of animals. I date this bowl c. 1890-1920.
