Staffordshire White Salt Glazed Stoneware Sugar Bowl, England, 18th century, globular shape, scrolled foliage and florets in relief.

The bowl is in excellent condition: there are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. It rings when tapped. It is 4-5/8" in diameter, and 2-1/2" high.

This sugar matches a teapot which was part of the Zeitlin Collection of English Ceramics and sold by Skinner Auctioneers in 2006. The teapot was dated 1755.
