This pretty 200 year old plate looks as if it were made yesterday! It's bright, crisp, and without any chips, cracks, or repairs. It rings like a bell when tapped.

The large (10-1/4") plate has a blue and white Chinoiserie pattern of over-sized flowers and a fence. the shaped edges are gadrooned.

Hicks and Meigh operated in Shelton, Staffordshire from 1806-22. They were known for their fine ironstone china. This plate is marked on the back with a large Royal Arms and the words "STONE CHINA NO. 21"
