This interesting transferware pattern was made by Hilditch & Son, of Lane End, Staffordshire, c. 1822-1830. The pattern, called "C-Scroll Vignette" can be seen in both "Chinoiserie" by Howard Davis, and "Staffordshire Porcelain" edited by Geoffrey A. Godden.
Both cup and saucer are marked "H & S" .
I recommend this set as a study piece, only, as the cup shows light brown discoloration. (As does the saucer, to a lesser degree.) There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Neither piece rings when tapped.
Note: I also have a waste bowl in this pattern.
