Amazingly thin pottery grey ware teapot, unglazed except for the enameled flowers in the Chinese style. Wicker handle.
It is small; measuring about 4-1/2" (11.5 cm) long, and 3" (7.5 cm) high (not including the handle). The teapot knop or finial pivots. There is wear to the gilding around the rim of the pot and the rim of the spout. There is a tiny nick to the spout (2 photos). Other than that, the pot is in excellent condition: no other chips, no cracks, no repairs. I believe this Banko Ware tea pot to be circa 1900.
It is not signed.
