This pretty 10" dinner plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no utensil marks, and no repairs.
On the back it has 3 stilt marks from the kiln, which were done "in-the-making" (close-up photo of one).

It was made by the Edward Challinor pottery of Tunstall, Staffordshire between 1842-1867. The light blue "romantic" pattern is Lozere.

This plate weighs 1-1/2 pounds!
