This early plate dates c 1813. It is marked twice. Once with the impressed circular mark "PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA", and once with the crown and banner mark.
The 8" shaped plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. It rings when tapped. There are utensil marks which are visible in glancing light. I find that these salad or dessert plates are often in much better condition than the dinner plates.
