This colorful 9-1/2" coffee pot has a dark green field with lots of gilded swirls. The overlapping Chinoiserie landscape panels form the central pattern. The pattern is called "Double Landscape".

It is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. The gilding is not worn. The pewter lid and hinge are intact. What a find!

Ashworth acquired the patterns and shapes of Mason's Ironstone in 1862. This coffee pot is impressed "ASHWORTH" on the base, which dates the piece 1862-80.
