Although popularly called "Nelson Pattern", this teapot stand is Chamberlain's Worcester "Japan" pattern 240. Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson ordered a tea and breakfast service in this pattern, and had his armorials and crests added (at an additional charge).

The stand is 18 cm (7-1/8") long, and 14.5 cm (5-3/4") long. It is in perfect condition, and rings when tapped. It was made c1802.
