This scarce Coalport Imari pattern is known as "Crab Claw". I have seen a matching piece marked with pattern number 186. These pieces are not marked. The maker was John Rose of Coalport, and the pieces all date about 1810. The price shown is for all three pieces.

The cup and saucer are in excellent condition, having no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. Both pieces ring when tapped.

The coffee can shows more wear to the gilding at the lip, and the border around the base. The porcelain of the can is not quite as white as the cup and saucer. I cannot find any chips, cracks, or repairs; but the coffee can does not ring when tapped.
