This pretty teapot has had a hard life, but someone cared enough for it that they paid for a professional restoration. It is now good only for display, study, and reference. It is about 11" long and 6-1/2" high.

The shape corresponds to the Leeds Pottery Blackware Drawing Book. See pages 210 & 211 of "British Teapots" by Robin Emmerson. It was likely made by the Hartley Greens & Co. (aka Leeds Pottery) about 1820. The teapot is unmarked.

The strawberry mold is sharp and crisp, and the piece displays well and is stable. I have tried to show you the damage and repairs in my photos.
