This figure is Benzaiten, the only female of the Seven Gods of Fortune. Her common form is a beautiful woman playing a biwa. (a Japanese traditional lute-like instrument).

She is about 3-3/4" high, and is in excellent condition, with no damage. The base is marked with a kanji for "Kutani" and the figurine dates about 1930.
