This early 9-1/4" Mason's Ironstone Plate is decorated in the "Vase and Rock" pattern. The Mason's Collectors' Club code is: OD4a.
The plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. It rings when tapped.
The plate shape is molded flowers around the front edge of the plate. This feature is almost hidden by the busy Chinoiserie pattern.
The back bears the one-line Impressed Mark, MASON'S PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA. That mark dates the plate as pre-1830.
