This gorgeous 10" plate has a most unusual molded edge. It is heavily gilded. The gadroon edge has what looks like a sheaf of wheat, scrolls and flowers. The Mason's Collectors' Club identifier for this pattern is: OF17,

The plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. The "Japan Pattern" is heavily gilded, with very little wear. There is a small area of discoloration along the interior edge. See the last photo. The plate rings when tapped.

The almost illegible impressed mark reads: MASON'S PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA. This mark dates the plate 1813-26.
