This lovely small dish or bowl is 4-1/2" (11.5 cm) across. I have read that the dark green ground was the original color for the "Clematis" pattern.
This piece came to me with the old paper label falling off. It reads: Moorcroft BY APPOINTMENT TO THE LATE QUEEN MARY, which helps us date the dish c1953 – 1978. It is also impressed with an incomplete "RCROF" and MADE IN ENGLAND.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs.
