This attractive 9-1/4" Dessert plate was made by Ashworth Bros., using their predecessor's, Mason's Ironstone, very first pattern, "India Grasshopper".
The pattern is also called "Indian Grasshopper". This plate is date marked 4/08 for April of 1908.

This plate is deeper than a dinner plate, and more shallow than a soup plate. The edge is 1-1/4" high. For today's use it would be great for pasta or salad.

The plate is in excellent condition, There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. There are some utensil marks. The plate rings when tapped.
I have 3 of these plates available. The listed price is for 1 plate.

Note: I also have for sale the rare original of this pattern, a dinner plate marked with Mason's Ironstone first mark, and marked pattern #1.

I guarantee the authenticity of all items I sell, and disclose any damage or restoration. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, or your money back! PayPal accepted. Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover accepted.
