This is a c 1820 John Rose Coalport Porcelain Waste Bowl from a tea set. It's decorated in a hand painted and gaudy Japan Pattern. It is 6-1/2" wide and 3-1/2" high.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. There is some wear to the interior decoration. It rings when tapped.
I have several pieces of this pattern. Please see the matching Trio I have for sale. Only one piece of the partial set is marked with Godden's Coalport mark #944, a distinctive impressed 2, used c. 1815-1825. This bowl is UNMARKED except for a pink workman's tally on the interior foot rim.
I guarantee the authenticity of all items I sell, and disclose any damage or restoration. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, or your money back! PayPal accepted. Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Discover accepted.
