This pretty tray could be used on your dresser, or to serve appetizers to your guests. It is a large indented square, 11-3/4" at the wide sides.
The pattern is called "Moss Rose", and was a favorite of many Staffordshire potters around 1850.
It is made of heavy porcelain, and weighs over 2 pounds. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. The tray rings when tapped. There is no maker's mark.
