This beautiful Cake or Dessert Plate measures 11" from handle to handle. It is in excellent condition. The profuse gilding is all intact. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. The plate rings when tapped. There is some slight discoloration in the area of the top flower in the central vase. I've included a close up of that.
This is an old Mason's "Japan" pattern, but Geoffrey Godden identifies the mark on the back ( "Real Stone China", with a Crown and a Banner), as circa 1860's Ashworth in his book "Godden's Guide to Ironstone, Stone and Granite Wares".
