This c 1820 John Rose Coalport Porcelain Trio is decorated in a hand painted and gaudy Japan Pattern. The cups have the "London" handle popular at that time. The deep saucer is 5-3/4".
The set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. All 3 pieces ring when tapped.
I have several pieces of this pattern. Only one piece of the partial set is marked with Godden's Coalport mark #944, a distinctive impressed 2, used c. 1815-1825. This set is UNMARKED.
