It is always rewarding to find one of my pieces illustrated in a reference book! This attractive pattern is number 239, and is shown on several pieces in Michael Messenger's "Coalport" book on page 106 in plates 52 & 53. This bowl dates about 1810.

This large porcelain waste bowl was part of a tea service. It held the used tea leaves and lemon rinds. The bowl is 6-1/2" in diameter, and 3-1/8" high. It is in very good condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. There is wear to the gilding and wear to one area of the pattern, which is shown in the final photo.

I also have for sale a matching sucrier and cover, and a cream jug.
