It has been claimed (by various authorities) that this pattern was made by Ridgway, Dixon & Austin, Minton, and the Don Pottery. Perhaps they all made it...it is a pattern pretty enough to steal!
This 8-1/4" pearlware plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. It rings when tapped. The plate dates about 1830.
