This pretty blue and white plate was made by Ridgway, c 1830. It is marked on the back: "Dresden Opaque China" The mark has been identified by K. Church as Ridgway's (see below).
The 8-1/4" pearlware plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. It rings when tapped. The plate dates about 1830.
