This early 19th C set is in pristine condition! There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs to either cup or saucer. The exterior design of gilded scrolls and shells is on a buff ground. The interior of the cup also has a gilded design. There is no wear to the gilding. Each piece rings when tapped.
The cup is 2-1/2" high. The saucer's diameter is about 5-1/2". The handle shape is an oval ring. Both pieces are marked DAVENPORT LONGPORT in blue. The pattern number, 2099 is hand written in red. I date the set c. 1815-20.
Note: I have 3 of these sets available, and a 4th set with a tiny nick to the rim, which is available at a lower price.
