This is a small, hand painted covered sugar bowl with two handles. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is no wear to the gilding or decoration.
This piece is 3-1/2" high to the top of the gilded knop on the lid. It is unmarked, but matches other pieces I have which are marked with the Satsuma mon and kanji. I believe it was made in the early 20th century.
Please also see the matching cup and saucer in my shop.
