This pretty Minton dinner plate measures 10-3/8". The border is a dark blue, and the central pattern has flowers of dark pink and red-orange.
It's impressed on the back: BB (for Best Body) and New Stone, and the Minton date mark for October of 1852. The pattern number A 1106 with a B underneath is hand painted in red.
The plate is in very good condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing or discoloration, and no repairs. There is wear to the hand painted enamels, and to the lustre trim on the rim of the plate.
