This small pottery teapot is 4-1/4" high. It is a globular shape with molded and entwined double strap handles. The main transferware scene shows a range of very pointy mountains, and European style buildings. It is the same on both sides of the teapot. The transfers are rather messily applied.
I am not sure of the age of this teapot, so I am offering it as "vintage".
Condition? It displays nicely. The delicate handles are amazingly intact. There is an in-the-making firing flaw to the spout. There is a chip out of the top of the pot where the lid rests. There is a small chip to the end of the spout, and a small chip to the underside of the edge of the lid. I have not been able to identify the maker of this teapot, and it has no marks on the base.
