This attractive pottery goblet has a white decorative band with hand painted green leaves and small circles of pink lustre which give the impression of flowers.
The goblet is 4-1/2" high with a mouth diameter of 3-1/4". It is unmarked. A similar goblet is shown on page 165 of "A Collector's History of English Pottery" by Griselda Lewis. It is dated "early 19th C".
The goblet is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs. It rings when tapped. Its only fault was "in the making"...it has a slight cant to it.
