Pink roses, gold and mauve borders. This lovely plate is about 8-1/4" in diameter. The only mark on the back is BT (in a shield) Germany. This mark is shown on page 70 of the "Collector's Encyclopedia of RS Prussia" and the author says it is: "American importing firm, probably Burley-Tyrell in Chicago". The mark was used on RS Germany" wares.
An example of this rare "Tiffany iridescent" finish is shown on page 183 of the same book.
Condition: no cracks, no crazing, no repairs. There are 2 tiny chips on the underside foot-rim of the plate: see the close-up photo. The plate dates c. 1912-45.
