This pretty "Old Paris" cup and saucer sports bold, bright colors in the hand painted rural scenes. The cup is 2-3/8" high, and the saucer is 5-1/4" in diameter. No maker's marks. I date this set c. 1850.
The condition is excellent. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Both pieces ring when tapped. There is very slight wear to the gilding.
