Black enamel, white pearls, and a few diamonds are the best combination found in this heavy gold "stackable" ring. It is especially comfortable when worn with other complimentary stack rings. It is a particularly heavy example weighing 7.7 grams. The band measures 7.7mm in the top front.
The stones are well set--three natural pearls and two pair of old cut diamonds spacers in between. The enamel is fashioned in a cross-over design to the front. The enamel has a tiny loss and it easily repaired by my fine enameler if the owner chooses. The pearls have a marvelous glow.
There are signs of hallmark markings easily visible. We believe some of the marks were erased due to previous re-sizing. Sadly there are no engraving to indicate the name of the individual being memorialized. However, the ring is a wonderful example of the Victorian period of mourning.
